- Columbine killer Eric Harris was on antidepressant Luvox. The Review wrote at the time:

"Following Columbine, the media ignored the possible connection between the killings and prescribed mood-altering drugs. The moral questions in a drug that works fine for most but has disastrous effects on others needs to be widely discussed."

- Virginia Tech murderer Cho Seung-Hui had prescription drugs in his possession but officials still refuse to release the names of them. Why?

Obviously, correlation is not necessarily causation but we can not even begin to analyze this question because neither the health industry nor the media will face the problem.

It let them know that she doesn't mind the shedding of non-innocent liberal Jewish blood (i.e. Ms. Giffords; after all aside from being a Liberal, Ms. Giffords and her people killed our Lord and Saviour. Obviously NOT an innocent) If you think this is too crazy to be true, "ya ain't been payin' tenchun"

The fighting/combat/war metaphors are pretty common in our culture when it comes to any discussion of struggle or compitition. It is almost hard to avoid them. The real problem to me is routine demonization using violent language by the right of anyone who disagrees with the, the talk of "2nd amendment remedies", marching supporters of healthcare reform, gun control, gay marriage (take your pick), etc out of congress at the point of a gun. The kind of people who say they love the constitution but constantly talk about violent responses to opponents that are not only unconstitutional but would amount to an attack on the constitution. These sort of comments and language from Sarah Pailin are really the mild end of what has been going on and the easiest for them to defend/excuse/throw-back at their critics.

The thing is, she completely contradicts herself and disproves her own point: on the one hand, Palin claims that all the violent rhetoric that she and others spout does NOT incite people to violence, but on the other hand, she now claims that any vitriolic rhetoric "the left" uses to denounce her WILL contribute to inciting hatred and violence! Thus, she disproves her own previously stated belief that words have no power...

How blatantly, utterly, transparent she is.
