They'll soon be going for a penny a piece on amazon, or freecycles, and people will get them for winter heating or insulation or cheaper toilet paper. Maybe the next Andy Warhol will pick up a mess that way, and make an interesting modern art piece .. not necessarily about this horrible blip in history, either; they could be painted.
