Bernie Sanders is one of a

Bernie Sanders is one of a handful of senators in this country who work for the PEOPLE and not for the moneyed interests. He's supported by small contributors, not corporations. Thank goodness he's a voice of sanity in a time of insanity.

Insanity is where the Republicans as a block would rather see this country go down the drain before they raise the tax rate on the wealthiest 1% of Americans, where they are against a nuclear non-proliferation treaty with Russia, where they are against extending unemployment to those who really need it, where they are for big oil and coal over a clean environment. It is insanity when a whole block of Republicans are fighting against the best interests of this country.

Bravo for standing up for the PEOPLE, Bernie Sanders! How I wish there were more like you in the Senate.

This is the speech Obama

This is the speech Obama should be delivering non-stop every day! Where does he stand?
Great speech, Bernie!
We're all outraged.

Seems a, 'no brainer'.

Seems a, 'no brainer'.

The sad part is that Bernie

The sad part is that Bernie Sanders seems to be the only one willing to stand up to the self hating conservatives who are willing to throw their children under to bus so that they get the illusion of lower taxes ...

It is an illusion simply because most of those who support making these tax cuts permanent fail to qualify for the tax cuts in the first place.

Well, Tea Partiers, Are you

Well, Tea Partiers, Are you having you having fun yet? Did YOU vote for Republicans in order to give your taxes to billionaires?

Bernie Sanders understands

Bernie Sanders understands the problem well.
However the millionaires and billionaires he is talking about are the ones who are buying the legislators.
It has been said before: We have the best government that money can buy.

Bernie should have gotten my

Bernie should have gotten my Campaign Contribution in 2008 instead of that "Afro" Guy who seems to be part of the problem instead of the solution, the rich two faced Bastard.

BERNIE SANDERS FOR PRESIDENT

BERNIE SANDERS FOR PRESIDENT 2012

This guy tells it like it is. Maybe the lone self-described socialist in the US Congress is among the few on the left with the guts to stand up and fight for progressive/left values instead of cowarding away from a fight like the other Democrats.

The middle class,

The middle class, particularly those in desperate need of unemployment benefits were used as leverage by the GOP (Greedy Overreaching Prostitutes) to get even more money for the "rich". This time the sellouts were bold enough to simply say, "We're want tax cuts for the millionaires... and we're willing to hold the unemployed as hostage until we get our way." They didn't even try to tie the tax cuts to their 'small business' ploy.... the one that leads you to believe that every millionaire is running a small business that helps create jobs for people. Why don't the Democrats say, "You are right. We need to help small businesses. So, let's get rid of the Bush tax cuts and give small businesses a tax REBATE based upon the number of jobs they create and the retention of their employees." That way, not every millionaire gets a tax cut... and only productive small businesses get a well deserved 'leg up'.
