Since when did Truthout claim to be 'free from bias', I think they take an openly critical stance which normally allows for open what could be described as left wing viewpoints, aimed at challenging the status quo, to account for the predominantly right-wing leave the status quo alone because it benefits us' agenda of most traditional media orgs (a la Murdoch outlets).

Why should they run the fictions from Faux Noise, Squawk Radio, FreedomJerks or the foot soldiers of the Koch brothers, the teabaggers?
