This brings tears with the thought of this person dying for a country that, in the 21st Century, still questions the meaning of 'person'.
I wonder how many gay servicemen were held in the "Hanoi Hilton."
There were gays in every unit I served with or went TDY to. I don't understand why people who are not in, or planning to join the military should be allowed to express any opinion on who should serve at all.
